Central Vermont Quilt Show

The Only Quilt Show in Central Vermont!

• The 2013 show was held on Friday and Saturday April 26 and 27, 2013, at Barre's historic Old Labor Hall. 
• There were over 50 quilts by local Central Vermont quilters in a variety of styles and sizes.
• A special display of vintage sewing machines was offered on Friday
• Seven fantastic merchants included local quilt shops, fiber artists, and craft suppliers  
• Demonstrations by prominent local quilters  were held on the hour Saturday.  Here's the schedule (subject to change): 

                        9 am - Lemoyne Star with Tucker ruler

                       10 am - folded snowflakes

                       11 am - paper piecing

                       noon - hand quilting

                       1 pm - fusible applique

                        2 pm - water color quilts

                        3 pm - French wire roses

• Martha Haynes and Joanne Lattrell won the Viewers' Choice Awards for large and small quilts, respectively.
• Jan Sherman won the 50-50 raffle and Liz Achilles won a raffle for a basket of hand-made goodies for baby.
• Visitors to the show also checked out area businesses like the Re-Store two doors down and  Studio Place Arts !
